Why Celtic? I was born a McDonough… enough said. Why Monk? I order my days to reflect the wisdom of The Rule of Benedict, and am a Benedictine Oblate. I’ve retired from a 30 year career/calling having pastored mostly PCUSA- Presbyterian churches.
I am learning to live from where I am, not from where I used to be. The desert mothers and fathers would call it stability. I continue to teach, when invited, through my Spiritual Direction practice. I no longer “look for” but “respond to” invitations. My time is spent continuing to learn through reading and silence. Contact me if I can be of assistance to you on your journey.
